Follow the Shelter Rock tourism signs from the R560.
On arrival
All visitors report to reception before their activity.
Please avoid the R401 route.
Some navigation apps incorrectly direct visitors from the R560 onto the R401. Please do not follow this route.
Instead, remain on the R560 until you reach the brown Shelter Rock tourism signs. Turn towards the mountain at the Shelter Rock sign and follow the shorter dirt-road approach to the property.

The last section of the drive follows a short dirt road leading towards the mountain. Drive slowly, particularly after rain, and continue following the brown Shelter Rock tourism signs.

Yes. The final approach follows a short dirt road. Please avoid the much longer R401 route.

What happens if it has rained?
The access road remains usable in most conditions, but please contact us if there has been unusually heavy rainfall.
