What is Ancient Golf?
The objective is familiar. The experience is anything but.
Long before golf courses were landscaped and scorecards printed, people created games using whatever the landscape offered. Ancient Golf draws inspiration from those early traditions.
Instead of precision-engineered clubs, you'll use a handcrafted knobkierie. Instead of carefully maintained greens, you'll navigate natural bushveld, rocks, trees and uneven terrain.
Every hole is shaped by the mountain itself. No two rounds are ever exactly the same.

Your guide introduces the game, explains the rules and hands each player their handcrafted knobkierie. No previous experience is required.

You'll quickly discover that swinging a knobkierie feels very different from swinging a golf club. That's part of the fun. Within a few shots, everyone begins finding their own technique.
